Change

We hope this finds you all healthy and in good spirits. Since March, our country and community have been impacted by COVID; some have lost love ones, were sick or had a family member become sick. Many of us have been impacted financially and/or physically.

Likewise, the small business world has been turned upside down. I want to thank you all personally for supporting 24 Karrot Kitchen during this time. Even though we had to change our business model, we were able to keep most of our employees and continue to serve our community. This was possible because of how the community stood together and supported the Kitchen.

Thank you, thank, thank you!!

Many of you have questions so we wanted to let you all know about our new business model which will be in place until this virus is beat and the risk to our employees and customers has abated.

Nourishing Food!

As many of you have noticed we are doing Meals To Go (Take Home Dinners) every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday night. We plan to continue offering these dinners and will provide a variety of new and favorite options every week. My focus will be to continue to utilize only the best, freshest, locally produced ingredients in all of our meals. We do not currently have a lunch menu, but we do have fresh salads made to order and limited table seating inside and out. Grab and go is always available for to-go soups, store items and yes, some fabulous drinks (cold and hot) from our coffee bar, as well as our delicious bakery items.

PANCAKES, did someone say PANCAKES :)

Since so many of you have been asking, we have been thinking about doing breakfast to go on Sundays. Stay tuned, we are looking at putting together a limited to-go breakfast menu for Sunday to give you a taste of the specials you like and ensure the quality you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

Other Changes

If you have been in the Kitchen recently you will have noticed we've opened a Mini Market making available some of the unique ingredients and organic vegetables and fruit we use every day in the Kitchen. We have also partnered with Tierra Verde Farms for our meat (grass fed, grass finished); order from their site & pick up at 24 Karrot Kitchen on Saturdays between 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. In addition we hope to have fresh cheese and milk available in the coming weeks. Let us know if there is something specific you would like for us to stock.

Sean continues to work with the farmers to provide our Community Support Agriculture (CSA) program. The program continues through November to make available affordable fruits and vegetables, making it easier for you and your family to eat affordable healthy foods. Sign up for a week and try it out.

We are working to start a Farmers Market on Thursday evenings every week in the Kitchen parking lot. Keep your fingers crossed!!

I have been reaching out to local doctors letting them know we are available to provide special weekly meals to support their patients' critical dietary needs. We stand ready to help anyone with special dietary needs with meals or cooking classes.

Cooking classes will start soon giving you the ability to get out of the house and have some fun in a safe environment. (cooking class post coming next)

When open, we always have hot and cold drinks, fresh-baked desserts and Grab & Go Soups in the fridge. You're welcome to enjoy in the Kitchen or sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Our current hours:
