COMMUNITY SUSTAINED AGRICULTURE
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a farming model where farm supporters sign up and pay for a share of the farmer’s harvest which they receive throughout the growing season. Participation helps offset costs for responsible and sustainable farming practices from our farmers, and acts as a personal investment in your and your family’s health. In return for your membership, each week you’ll receive a variety of freshly picked, responsibly grown, non-GMO, and often organic-certified veggies. Products from our multi-farm community like pasture-raised eggs, culinary herbs, seasonal fruit, and whole chickens can be included in your CSA box for an additional fee. Pick-ups will be on Saturday afternoons when we return from the market. Applications are first come first served, as share spots are very limited. Sign up by responding to this email and become an even bigger supporter of the 24 Karrot Kitchen family, local farmers, and the community.
Spring/Summer session will run for 12 weeks: May 2nd - July 25th = $240
Summer/Fall session will also run for 12 weeks through Nov 21, 2020 - you don't need to sign up for both but receive a free week if you do.
-
Each week’s share composition is determined by what is currently being harvested
-
We will try to vary the content as much as possible, but Mother Nature is really the one making the calls
-
Payment is due in full when you pick up your first share or you can pay in advance online
-
Please make arrangements for pick-up if you're vacationing or unable to gather your share. We have limited cold storage and are unable to store shares. Thanks!
